Accessing our Services
You can access a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) through your GP or Psychiatrist, allowing you to claim a Medicare rebate. Talk to your GP or Psychiatrist about your eligibility for treatment under a MHCP.
This referral option is available if you have a chronic health condition that has been (or is likely to be) present for 6 months or more, allowing you to claim a Medicare rebate for a range of services. Talk to your GP about whether this plan is appropriate for you.
If you are not claiming a Medicare rebate, you may be eligible for a rebate through your private health fund. You will need to contact your insurer directly to determine if you are covered for psychological services.
If your consultations are funded by a third party, such as insurance or WorkCover, you will need to provide us with all documentation and claim details prior to your initial consultation.
Consultations via telehealth or phone can be accessed privately and under the Medicare Better Access Initiative.
Telehealth consultations involve communication between you and your clinician using both a video and audio connection over the internet.
