Roxana has always had a passion for assisting people in navigating challenges and reaching their potential. She believes in fostering strengths and resilience, as well as overcoming difficulties and reducing distress when supporting people to reach their goals.

Roxana works primarily from a cognitive behavioural therapy framework, and will adopt or integrate elements of mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, and a range of other therapeutic modalities to tailor the treatment plan to the unique preferences and needs of each person.

She is experienced in providing effective assistance for a wide range of presenting concerns. Roxana is particularly interested in supporting people experiencing anxiety and stress, social and performance fears, perfectionism, low self-esteem, depression, burnout, and those struggling to adjust to difficult circumstances, cope with traumatic experiences, or manage concerns related to autism spectrum traits.

Post-graduate professional doctorate training in Clinical Psychology was undertaken by Roxana at the University of Queensland, and she is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. She has experience in private practice, NGO, hospital, and community clinic settings, treating both individual clients and facilitating group sessions. Roxana has also worked as a research assistant and principal investigator in projects involving social and emotional skills training, family behavioural support, and therapeutic program development.

Roxana has a warm, understanding, practical approach, with a focus on helping translate insights and gains made in the therapy room into everyday life.
